OTTAWA, ONTARIO, CANADA — Netistix Technologies, a Canadian wireless fleet vehicle telematics company, has been invited by the federal government to display its technology at the upcoming 11th annual United Nations Climate Change Conference held in Montreal from Nov. 28-Dec. 9, 2005. Netistix will be part of the “A World of Solutions,” a showcase that is adjacent to the UN conference. During the showcase, which will run from Dec. 6-9, Canadian organizations profile their programs, solutions, and emerging technologies dedicated to the reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Netistix’ technology has been deployed in several commercial and government fleets in Canada. The onboard device collects data, including idling time, with the goal of reducing the overall cost of fleet operations, as well as decreasing greenhouse gas emissions.
