Saab Rolls Out 2006 9-5 Series

October 4, 2005

FRANKFURT, GERMANY — Saab is rolling out its 2006 9-5 lineup. For 2006, the 9-5 range refreshes its look with exterior sheet metal, enhancements to the chassis and powertrain, and new instrumentation and “infotainment” systems. The Linear, Arc, and Aero models will be merged in to a single model — the 2.3T — in sedan and wagon body styles. The SportWagon is now called the SportCombi. Saab’s new 9-5 lineup — which includes a sleek design and environmentally friendly BioPower engine — was unveiled at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show.
