Nobilas Claims & Fleet Solutions and Dickinson Fleet Services Form Partnership

NORCROSS, GA – The Akzo Nobel Business Unit Nobilas Claims & Fleet Solutions and Dickinson Fleet Services have formed a strategic partnership to offer heavy vehicle accident and repair service in the United States. The new service, CRASH Plus (Collision Repair and Service Hotline), includes a 24-hour call center, first notice of loss, mobility services, repair dispatch, estimate review and retrieval, subrogation services, total loss handling, repair management, and bill consolidation.Dickinson Fleet Services is an independent heavy vehicle fleet maintenance company. Based in Indianapolis, it operates nine repair facilities for trucks and other heavy vehicles, and employs 270 full-time employees, including 200 technicians. Nobilas offers global accident and repair management services, as well as claims management and fleet identity services.The partnership with Dickinson allows Nobilas to supplement its broad array of accident management services with a package of services for fleet operators whose fleets include class 3 to class 8 vehicles — larger box vans, panel vans, tractor trailer trucks, and heavy specialty vehicles such as cherry pickers and maintenance vehicles, according to Pete Wilson, key account manager for Nobilas North America. “With this strategic partnership we can build on our own strength in collision repair by joining it to Dickinson’s leadership in the heavy fleet market. Together, we have a network of about 150 heavy duty truck collision repair facilities throughout the United States.”“While accident management services have been available to companies for their automobile fleets, this is the first time a comprehensive service has been available for their light duty through heavy duty truck fleets,” adds Ted Coltrain, VP and GM of Dickinson Fleet Services.Nobilas offers lease companies, insurers, car rental companies and fleet owners solutions for the entire accident management process, from damage reports and mobility restoration to repairs and claims settlement. The total concept, supported by tools such as an innovative IT platform and an extensive towing and bodyshop network, minimizes inconvenience for drivers and maximizes efficiency for fleet owners.
