Driving Fines Increase in NJ for Lack of Documentation

TRENTON, NJ — Starting August 15, the price of a ticket in New Jersey for failing to show your driver’s license, registration, or insurance card at the time you are stopped, increased from $44 to $173, according to Gold Cross Safety Corp. If you do not have all three of these documents, the fine increases to $519.
