PHH Arval and Environmental Defense Partner to Drive Down Emissions

August 2, 2005

SPARKS, MD – PHH Arval and Environmental Defense, an environmental and public health non-profit organization, have announced a new partnership project to improve the environmental performance of commercial fleets and significantly curb global warming emissions. The project will help PHH clients neutralize the climate impacts of their fleet operations by improving efficiency, purchasing carbon offsets, and using other innovative pollution reducing tools. As part of this partnership, PHH and Environmental Defense will work together to develop a model for fleet management that works to reduce greenhouse gas emissions while producing business benefits for PHH’s clients. In addition, the project will demonstrate the feasibility of implementing climate-neutral fleet management strategies and improving environmental performance throughout the fleet management industry.
