Workhorse Celebrates 100,000th Chassis in Six Years

UNION CITY, IN – Workhorse Custom Chassis celebrated the 100,000th chassis to come off its production line since it began operations in 1999.According to 2004 R.L. Polk data of new vehicle registrations, the top 10 RV dealers in the United States ordered 79 percent of their Class A gas motor home inventory on Workhorse chassis.Joining Workhorse in its 100,000th chassis celebration was two of its biggest customers, Winnebago Industries Inc., a motor home manufacturer, and Bimbo Bakeries USA. Also celebrating with Workhorse were a number of government officials who have worked with the company to bring 400 jobs to the Union City area over the past six years.
