Donlen Named 2005 American Business Awards Finalist

NORTHBROOK, IL — Donlen Corporation was named on May 4 as a finalist for Most Innovative company in the third annual American Business Awards.More than 1,200 nominations from companies of all sizes and in nearly every industry were submitted for consideration in more than 40 categories, including Best Overall company, Best Executive, Best New Product or Service and Most Innovative company.Donlen was recognized for launching the interactive Vehicle Lifecycle Calculator and for recognizing the opportunities presented by short cycling, and for its pioneering use of the Internet for vehicle remarketing. Hailed as “the business world’s own Oscars” by the New York Post (September 22, 2002), The American Business Awards are the first national, all-encompassing business awards program honoring great performances in the workplace. Members of the Awards' Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors and their staffs will select winners from among the finalists. Finalists were chosen by business professionals nationwide during preliminary judging in February through April.
