Baltimore GM Plant Builds Last Astro/Safari Van

BALTIMORE – The last Astro/Safari van rolled off the assembly line at 11:05 a.m. Friday, May 13, at the Broening Highway General Motors plant, one of 2.3 million vehicles built there over seven decades, according to the Detroit News. The last vans will be raffled to workers with perfect attendance since Jan. 10.
