April 19, 2005

BISMARCK, ND – According to Alternative Transportation Fuels Today, the North Dakota legislature has approved a new measure that would reduce the 21-cent tax on E-85, a fuel blend of 85 percent ethanol and 15 percent standard gasoline, to one cent per gallon. The proposed tax reduction would expire over the next two years, after E-85 sales reach 1.2-million gallons, according to the Associated Press.
