California Fleet News to Hold Seminar on Competitive Fleet Management

SAN DIEGOCalifornia Fleet News announces that its next program, "Competitive Fleet Management: Run It Like You Own It," a one-day seminar for all fleet employees, will be hosted by the Public Fleet Supervisors Association in Livermore, Calif., on June 22, 2005, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.The program will contain all of the essentials for keeping your fleet competitive. Seminar attendees will learn:

  • How to bring employees, customers, and upper level management together in building a competitive, best in class fleet.
  • How to manage spending and improve service at the same time.
  • How to clear the decks, empower customers and employees, reform administrative systems, and bust bureaucracy.
  • The "best practices," "best benchmarks," and "best business models."
  • How implementing best practices slows privatization threat.
