The Marshall Tucker Band Headlines Donlen Anniversary Party

March 29, 2005

NORTHBROOK, IL — Donlen Corporation announced on March 28 that music legends The Marshall Tucker Band, a mainstay on the Billboard charts for more than 30 years, will headline its 40th Anniversary celebration at this year's FMI-LEG FleetFusion Conference. With such hits as "Can't You See," "Fire on the Mountain," and "Heard It in a Love Song," The Marshall Tucker Band features music that has appeared on seven gold and three platinum albums. According to the band, it promises to be an evening of "everything from country to blues and all things in-between." This year marks 40 years since Donlen was founded, during which time it has been focused only on providing fleet leasing and management services. "We're hosting this open party as a way for the industry to help us celebrate this milestone," said Barry Steel, senior vice president of sales and marketing. Scheduled for Monday evening, April 11, the event will take place in Texas Ballroom C&D at the Gaylord Texan, the host hotel of the conference. The party will be open to all FMI-LEG attendees, and begins at 9:30 p.m.
