REDFORD, MI — Sterling Truck Corp. announced that it is moving its headquarters to Redford, Mich., in the Greater Detroit area. Sterling's sales, marketing, dealer operations, and financial departments will begin operating from its new facility in the second quarter of this year. Sterling Truck Corp. has been headquartered in Willoughby, Ohio, in the Cleveland area, since 1998. Manufacturing operations for Sterling trucks remain in St. Thomas, Ontario. The St. Thomas Truck Manufacturing Plant employs over 2,100 people in the production of Sterling-brand heavy- and medium-duty vehicles. Sterling Truck Corp. produces heavy- and medium-duty custom work trucks for regional hauling and diverse vocational applications. Sterling is a member of the Freightliner LLC Group.
