Netistix Signs Fleet Project with Canpar Transport LP

March 22, 2005

OTTAWA, CANADA — Netistix Technologies Corp. announced on March 2 that the company has signed its first North American pilot project in the parcel delivery industry, for its FleetPulse vehicle relationship management product with Canpar Transport LP, one of Canada’s leading parcel delivery firms. Under the terms of the project, Canpar is installing the FleetPulse fleet management system in a number of curbside delivery vehicles spanning eight sites across Canada. Specific financial terms of the contract were not released. The purpose of the pilot project is to produce a baseline of vehicle performance information including data about fuel usage, maintenance information, and other factors that Canpar can use for comparison purposes. Canpar is headquartered in Mississauga, Ontario, with seven major hub facilities and maintains 55 terminals throughout Canada. Netistix FleetPulse is a vehicle relationship management (VRM) system. It combines in-operation vehicle diagnostics and telematics. The product provides fleet management and repair service operators with the data required to make cost-effective business decisions throughout the fleet ecosystem and over the vehicle’s total lifecycle.
