Mitsubishi Motors North America Enters Into Agreement With Sirius Satellite Radio

CYPRESS, CA — Mitsubishi Motors North America announced an exclusive agreement on March 7 with SIRIUS Satellite Radio to offer satellite radio as a factory-installed option in various Mitsubishi models.The first SIRIUS factory-installed option will appear in the 2006 Mitsubishi Raider. The midsize truck, which was recently unveiled at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, will be available in dealer showrooms in the fall of 2005.SIRIUS will come standard with the Mitsubishi Motors’ Premium Audio System package. All 2006- and 2007-model year SIRIUS-equipped vehicles will include a six-month, pre-paid subscription service and free activation.Following the 2006 Raider, Mitsubishi Motors plans to offer SIRIUS as a factory installed option in three additional models for the 2007-model year.
