How Do Hybrid Electric Vehicles Work?

OAK RIDGE, TN — The National Transportation Research Center at the Oak Ridge National Laboratories was often asked "How do hybrid electric vehicles work?" To help answer that question, it added a neat hybrid animation to its Web site: http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/hybridtech.shtml. This animation will soon be available in the Fuel Economy Toolkit on the Clean Cities web site, according to Bo Saulsbury, National Transportation Research Center Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Oak Ridge.
