Hobart Corporation Selects FleetTraks From On-Board Communications

DALLAS — Hobart Corporation, a commercial food equipment and service provider for the foodservice and food retail industries, has selected FleetTraks for installation in its service vehicles. Hobart operates a fleet of 1,700 vehicles. FleetTraks permits companies such as Hobart to track their vehicles in real time, which facilitates the most expeditious dispatch of service personnel, improving customer service. Additionally, ServiceTraks from On-Board tracks preventive maintenance intervals on Hobart vehicles increasing the uptime of vehicles and lowering ongoing repair costs. The Hobart service network includes 200 sales and service locations and 1,700 service technicians. Hobart is the factory-authorized servicer for Hobart, Baxter, Baker's Aid, Wolf and Vulcan equipment. Hobart service technicians are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
