ISELIN, N.J. — Phillip E. Russo, CAE, has been selected as executive director of the National Association of Fleet Administrators (NAFA), effective February 16, 2004. Russo is currently the executive director of the International Recording Media Association. "We are pleased to have found a certified association executive with extensive knowledge of the fleet management profession," noted President Milton Reid. Russo was employed at NAFA from 1985-1999, initially as associate editor, then director of communications, assistant executive director and deputy executive director. Russo will replace NAFA Executive Director David P. Lefever, who retires April 15 after 20 years of service. He earned the Certified Association Executive designation from the American Society of Association Executives in 1997. He earned an associate in applied science degree in marketing from Middlesex County College in 1983 and a bachelor of arts in journalism/mass media from Rutgers University in 1986.
