In Memoriam: Nelson Karney

DETROIT – Nelson Karney passed away on Feb. 13. He retired from General Motors in 1987 as director of Pontiac Fleet Operations after nearly 38 years of service with GM. A memorial gathering will be held on Thurs., Feb. 17, from 4-9 p.m. at the McCabe Funeral Home in Farmington Hills. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Karmanos Cancer Institute Hospice Program in Southfield, Mich.
