GE Debuts New Web-Based Remarketing Program

February 15, 2005

EDEN PRAIRIE, MN — GE Commercial Finance Fleet Services announced on February 11 that it has introduced an application designed to help fleet owners spot the best time to sell individual cars in their fleets. There is an art to knowing when the most profitable time is to sell individual cars out of a fleet, but GE Commercial Finance Fleet Services says it wants to make it more of a science. GE's fleet-management unit is offering its new Time2Sell Web-based analytical tool to fleet managers. They need to know when they can get the most for a car that's past its useful prime. The product delivers a simple replacement plan at the vehicle level with monthly predicted costs, maintenance history reports, and real-time order and sale tracking to the plan.
