County of Placer, California Awards Lease Contract to Mike Albert Leasing

February 15, 2005

CINCINNATI, OH — In January, the Board of Supervisors of Placer County, California, approved a three-year contract with Mike Albert Leasing Inc, of Cincinnati, Ohio, to provide vehicle lease services to Placer County. The County has an option to extend the contract for an additional two years. The contract was awarded through Placer County’s Request for Proposal review process. Subsequent to submission of the RFP response, Mike Albert’s Director of Government Leasing, Mark Radzely, met with Placer County Officials to review their needs. Mike Albert will provide lease services for approximately 100 administrative use (non-emergency) vehicles for various Placer County offices including the Sheriff, District Attorney, Probation, and Economic Development Departments as well as the Board of Supervisors. The Placer County Vehicle Selector includes a cross-section of both General Motors and Daimler-Chrysler vehicles. Also available to Placer County will be the Hybrid Toyota Prius and Honda Civic. It is anticipated that approximately 50 vehicles will be ordered for the 2005-model year with the remainder spread out over the 2006- and 2007-model years.
