New Durango SXT With 7-Passenger Seating

January 18, 2005

AUBURN HILLS, MI — DaimlerChrysler announced on January 13 that it is debuting an all-new, lower-priced, 7-passenger choice for the 2005 Durango - the SXT with a 3rd row seat option, and with rear HVAC.For Durango, this change drops the entry level price point for a 7-passenger model by $1,810 (down from the SLT). This new SXT is configured like the current ST (which is being discontinued), although body side moldings and roof side rails are standard equipment (with the associated pricing of only $215 MSRP). While the new SXT starts at a lower level of equipment, these two features are optionally available on the new SXT.
