City of Moline Appoints New Fleet Manager

MOLINE, IL — J.D. Schulte has been named fleet manager for the city of Moline, Ill. He replaces Stan Bousson who has since retired. Schulte was previously loss control manager for the city of Moline for 3 1/2 years, and a technician for 10 years. He supervises a fleet of 493 vehicles, including squad cars, snow plows, sanitation packers, hydraulic trucks, street sweepers, heavy construction equipment, jetter trucks, TV vans, and passenger vans.The city of Moline has a complete repair facility with the exception of body and paint repair. The city also provides and maintains a drive-thru large vehicle wash and a complete fuel delivery center with canopy that includes natural gas. The city has six certified technicians, a parts and service coordinator, a clerical worker, and a part-time secretary/receptionist.
