Bill to Allow Hybrid Owners to Drive Solo in Carpool Lane in California

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Senator Dianne Feinstein will introduce legislation in Congress to allow owners of hybrids that get 45 mpg or better to drive solo in California carpool lanes. Congressional approval is needed before California law can take effect, said an article in the Los Angeles Daily News on January 6.
