UPS Tests RFID Use in Monitoring Fleet Activity at Controlled Access Points

ATLANTA — UPS recently conducted an RFID (radio frequency identification) pilot program at its Roswell, Ga., facility in which RFID tags were placed on vehicles to monitor their activity at controlled access points as they enter or exit the facility, according to Information Week magazine.
