MT. ARLINGTON, NJ - Vehicle grading scales and performance benchmarking discussions will highlight the next International Automotive Remarketers Alliance (IARA) Roundtable, scheduled for Feb. 16 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. According to an announcement by Matt Marks, IARA executive director, on November 24, Roundtable participants will work to develop consensus on key issues to improve performance in our industry. Through workgroup interchange, participants will define and prioritize key developmental requirements that will be presented to appropriate industry groups. Held in conjunction with the Conference of Automotive Remarketing (CAR) 2005, the IARA meeting begins at noon with the Circle of Excellence Award Luncheon, followed by Roundtable discussions. An auction/remarketers´ panel discussing “Creating Partnerships” will conclude the event. According to Marks, the event is valuable for professionals involved in a variety of fleet-related industries, including auction management, fleet lease management, leasing, banking, manufacturing, remarketing services and technology, rental car, vehicle inspection and valuing, and used-car sales.
