Former GM Fleet Finance Director to Head Buick & Pontiac-GMC Divisions

DETROIT — General Motors announced on December 16 that it has named John Larson its new general manager of the Buick and Pontiac-GMC divisions. One of Larson´s earlier assignments at GM was working as director, finance for GM Fleet & Commercial Operations. Larson replaces CJ Fraleigh, who resigned on December 15 to become chief customer and sales marketing officer at Sara Lee Corp. in Chicago. Larson has been finance director, North America, for GM´s vehicle, sales, service and marketing. He previously worked in Cadillac marketing and rose through the finance side of GM.
