DETROIT — The Chrysler Group made the right choice in developing its 2005 Town & Country minivans, according to the Detroit Free Press´ Mark Phelan. "Practicality rules in minivans, and the disappearing seats and copious storage space (read Stow ´n Go) in the Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan make them better choices for most buyers, particularly those with small children," wrote Phelan in his review of the Honda Odyssey minivan. Phelan´s headline is very telling: "Front-Runner Turns Runner-Up." He wrote that the Chrysler Group went for somewhat less cushy seats and more practicality. "For my money, Chrysler made the right choice."
