Emkay, Inc. to Purchase AMI Unit

Emkay Inc., a fleet lease and management company, announced the acquisition of two business units from AMI Leasing based in Worcester, Mass. AMI is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Credit Corp. The acquisition includes about 20,000 leased and managed units. Emkay expects to complete the acquisition by the end of September. Emkay is a 58-year-old fleet lease and management company. Following the integration, Emkay expects revenues of more than $400 million and its total revenue producing fleet to approach 60,000 units.
