The National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA) recently converted its U.S. Federal Lighting Guide Wall Chart to an online guide on to help commercial truck and transportation professionals navigate the complex Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) 108.Featured in the "Tech Center" area of the site, the guide provides lighting requirements for the following truck types: service/utility body, stake body/flatbed, van body, packer body, walk-in van, dump truck, tractor and semi-trailer. Any lamp or reflector on the truck or body may be selected for full detail. A printer-friendly .pdf is available by clicking on the “Federal Lighting Reference Table” at the top of the page.A print version of the NTEA U.S. Federal Lighting Guide Kit is also available and is comprised of a U.S. Lighting Guide Booklet and a laminated U.S. Federal Lighting Guide Wall Chart. NTEA members may purchase the kit for $35. It is available to nonmembers for $70.
