GE Reports $300 Per Vehicle Lift to Resale With Carfax Reports

July 6, 2004

GE Fleet Services, which has entered into an exclusive partnership with vehicle history information provider Carfax, reports that its initial study shows a net gain of approximately $300 on the sell price of cars we resell through auctions, according to Paul Seger, vice president of asset remarketing for GE Commercial Finance - Fleet Services.Every GE fleet vehicle that qualifies is offered with the exclusive Carfax Buyback Guarantee. Dealers with Carfax accounts will have access to the complete service and repair information for any GE Fleet vehicle. Carfax Vehicle History Service can confirm a clean title history or may help purchasers identify previous salvage history, odometer fraud, flood damage or other incidents in a car's past. The companies are currently exploring ways to expand access to Carfax vehicle history information at auctions around the country.
