2006 Dodge Magnum Police Package to Debut at Law Enforcement Group Conference

Attendees to NAFA's Law Enforcement Group Conference, to be held August 14-18 in Las Vegas, Nev., will get the first opportunity to drive the police packaged Dodge Magnum at the DaimlerChrysler-sponsored Ride and Drive on August 14, 2004.They will be able to view the vehicle at the Police Fleet Information Exposition on August 15-16. It will be the first public showing of the vehicle, according to the National Association of Fleet Administrators (NAFA).The new rear-wheel drive Dodge Magnum police car is powered by the HEMI V-8 engine. For police requirements, Dodge engineers integrated specific law enforcement vehicle features and functionality into the original design of the Dodge Magnum, minimizing the need for aftermarket retrofits.The 2005 Dodge Magnum SXT model will be available this fall to law enforcement agencies for special service use. The 2006 Dodge Magnum with a special police package will be available in the fourth quarter of 2005.
