In Memoriam: Billie Doying, 1949 - 2004

Billie Doying, national fleet sales manager for Jim Lupient Enterprises in Minneapolis, passed away on May 30. She was 54, and had been battling cancer for the past several months. Doying, who had worked for Lupient since 1991, was an affiliate member of the North Central Chapter of the National Association of Fleet Administrators (NAFA) and was a very active member of the Automotive Fleet & Leasing Association (AFLA). Prior to working for Lupient, Doying spec’ed medium-duty trucks and bodies in Denver. She is survived by her husband, Dave; sons, David and Jason; mother, Betty Youtsey; sister Carla Stewart; brothers, Jim and Chuck Jackson, all of Missouri. Both Doying and her husband were originally from the Kansas City, Mo. area. Doying was buried in Gallitin, Mo. At the family’s request, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in the name of Billie Doying. The NAFA North Central Chapter sent a memorial donation to the American Cancer Society in Doying’s name.
