Ford to Discontinue Production of Mercury Sable Wagon in August

June 8, 2004

Ford Motor Co. has advanced the date to discontinue production of the Mercury Sable Wagon to August. It was originally scheduled to be discontinued in December 2004. The reason for pulling ahead the discontinuation date was to allow dealers to focus their full attention on the launch of 2005 models, including the new Montego and Mariner. The Montego and Mariner go into production in the July/August timeframe.
