GE Fleet Services Named as a Sears Partner in Progress

GE Fleet Services announced April 23 that it has been named as a Sears Partner in Progress for 2003.This award is presented annually to a select group of supplier companies that provide Sears, Roebuck and Co. with products and services, from apparel, appliances, and tools to marketing, transportation services, and technology. GE Fleet Services was one of only 123 vendors selected from the more than 10,000 vendors who provided products and services to Sears in 2003.John Haines, senior vice president of services for GE Fleet Services, and Ted Mroz, a national account manager for GE Fleet Services and the Sears account manager, were honored April 13 at an event hosted by Sears Chairman and CEO Alan J. Lacy at Sears headquarters in Hoffman Estates, Ill.The Partners in Progress program recognizes sources that make significant contributions to the growth of Sears businesses and the creation of new ways to serve Sears customers. The winners were selected from nominations submitted by Sears’ employees who purchase goods and services for the company.
