Hitachi Credit America Corp. Announces New Corporate Name and Headquarters Location

Hitachi Credit America Corp. announced on Feb. 27 that effective March 1, 2004 it will change its corporate name to Hitachi Capital America Corp. The new name is part of a worldwide re-branding under the Hitachi Capital name by its parent company, Hitachi Capital Corporation, headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. The use of the Hitachi Capital name gives all Hitachi Capital Group companies an instantly recognizable brand that will help facilitate growth and improve our profile. The new name also better reflects the varied financial products and services we currently provide or are developing. Hitachi Capital America Corp. also announced it will be moving its corporate headquarters to Norwalk, CT effective March 8, 2004. The move evolved from the need to accommodate a growing workforce and provide space needed to support future growth.
