Khoury Claims Services Announces Special Fleet Program

February 2, 2004

Khoury Claims Services announced on Jan. 26 a special fleet damage recovery program designed to reduce fleet maintenance and operating costs, while increasing internal customer satisfaction.Khoury Claims Services (KCS) is best known in the car-rental industry serving clients such as Hertz, Avis, National, Alamo, Budget, Dollar, Thrifty, Advantage, and many independents. KCS focuses on increasing cash flow and eliminating net loss by providing claims subrogation and fleet acquisition and disposal services. The KCS management team is comprised of recovery professionals who have industry experience in diminution of value, I-CAR, and manufacturers repair specifications. “KCS provides a highly innovative service to the fleet industry,” said Chuck Grimsley, senior vice president of the Khoury Group. “Our Vehicle Purchase Program enables companies to replace vehicles with moderate to extensive frame damage, rather than repairing, entering back in the fleet, and losing thousands upon turnback. By purchasing the car and the claim for the wholesale value of the payoff to the financial institution, the fleet manager is able to quickly replace the vehicle without incurring a depreciation loss while at the same time increasing driver morale and reduces liability exposure and overall risk associated with having a previously damaged vehicle in your fleet. No other firm provides such benefits and flexibility,” said Grimsley.
