Chicago to Acquire 45 Toyota Prius Models for City Fleet

The Chicago City Council Environment Committee has signed off on a plan to start buying Toyota Priuses for fuel efficiency. Chicago Fleet Management plans to buy 20 Toyota Prius cars and lease 25 more. Fuel efficiency, cleaner exhaust and less noise are what the Prius is noted for. The City of Chicago operates an 11,000 vehicle fleet.
