Saab Announces Executive Transitions

Just days after setting new records in new car sales, certified pre-owned sales and parts and accessories sales, Saab Cars USA, Inc. announced on January 13 executive transitions to strengthen its U.S. business. Ed Peper, 41, vice president of sales at Saab Cars USA, is being promoted by General Motors to regional general manager of the northeast region, effective Feb. 1. Peper will replace Jim Bunnell in that role. Brian Sweeney, 36, sales manager-east of GM’s north-central region, will replace Peper as vice president of sales at Saab Cars USA, effective Feb. 1. Dan David, 53, vice president parts and service at Saab Cars USA, Inc. will retire April 30 after a 30-year career with Saab Scania of America, Saab Automobile AB and Saab Cars USA. John Anderson, 43, Viggen team leader, aftersales in Gothenburg, Sweden, will replace David as vice president of parts and service at Saab Cars USA, effective March 1.
