Australian Government Selects LeasePlan For A$500 Million Fleet Contract

The government of Australia signed on Jan. 15, 2004, a A$500 million vehicle fleet contract with LeasePlan Australia Ltd., a subsidiary of LeasePlan Corporation and the sister company of LeasePlan USA. The contract included vehicle fleet and leasing services. LeasePlan was chosen after a competitive open tender process. The Australian government's auto fleet consists of approximately 14,000 vehicles.
