Ford Models Receive Publication Honors

December 22, 2003

Ford Motor Co. announced on December 18 that the editors of Kelley Blue Book have named Ford's all-new F-150 pickup the Best Redesigned Vehicle for 2004. Ford Motor Co. tripled its investment in the F-150's interior design and one editor noted that "a truck with a brushed aluminum dash, leather seats and a center-console-mounted shifter has no place being called a pickup; this is luxury." As competition heats up in the full-size truck market Kelley Blue Book calls the 2004 F-150 "a home run." The consumer publication Car & Driver magazine announced that the Ford Focus has made its Top 10 Vehicle list for 2004. This is the fifth consecutive year Focus has achieved this award.
