Buske Lines Selects MobileMax for Fleet Wireless Communications and Tracking

December 29, 2003

Aether Systems, Inc., a provider of wireless and mobile data solutions, announced that Buske Lines, Inc. will equip its fleet with MobileMaxTM, Aether's multi-modeTM solution for the transportation industry. Buske will initially install MobileMax in 65 of its trucks, with plans to roll out Aether's solution to its fleet of more than 400 trucks over the next two to three years as the carrier upgrades its wireless technology across the fleet. Based in Granite City, Ill., Buske is a family-owned company that has been in operation since 1923. The company chose MobileMax to gain the benefits of the system that automatically switches between land-based and satellite communications without driver or dispatcher intervention to ensure complete coverage. The Aether MobileMax system transmits dispatch and data messages and GPS position reports, and provides data on state-line crossings, vehicle fault codes, and driver performance.
