AutoIMS.com announced on November 13 that its member auctions now offer value-added service to local fleets via access to a “light” version of AutoIMS. Through MyLocalAuction.com, local commercial accounts gain the ability to streamline auction communications and automate key remarketing processes exclusively with the registering AutoIMS member auction. Once registered by the auction, local fleets can log on to schedule vehicle turn-ins, track vehicle statuses, view CRs with images, and review sales history — all online. The user-friendly system features limited choices and point-and-click navigation so clients can move inventory with no training. Preformatted reports provide fast, easy visibility of all inventory. Report options include search, submitted for pick-up, submitted for drop-off, at auction, sold, archived and titles needed. Users add inventory individually via the web interface, or they can upload data on multiple vehicles from a spreadsheet application such as Microsoft Excel. Participating auctions establish the accounts and designate users through their AutoIMS administrative system. Auctions receive and process assignments via AutoIMS.
