November 24, 2003

Fleet One announced on November 20 that it has signed a deal to have its Fleet One Over The Road and its Plus Cheks accepted at Petro Stopping Centers. The partnership allows Fleet One's cards to be accepted at Petro's 60 nationwide locations, and gives customers the option of paying inside or at the pump. "Petro is one of the most popular truck stop chains in the country," said Michael Thompson, Fleet One's senior vice president of sales and marketing. Petro joins the fuel and maintenance merchants nationwide that make up Fleet One's Plus Network. The Plus Network allows drivers to use their cards for fuel and maintenance without incurring a transaction fee.
