Irena Dmitry, manager of marketing and 
communications for The CEI Group, was recently elected to serve as Chairperson of the Exhibit Advisory Committee (EAC) for the Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS), the organization announced on October 3.
The EAC represents exhibitors who participate in the annual RIMS tradeshow. Responsibilities of elected representatives include acting as a liaison between RIMS staff and exhibitors, monitoring outside exhibit related activities and providing support to the RIMS meetings and events management department, as well as analyzing and reviewing post-conference exhibitor evaluations and statistics to identify problem areas and propose improvements for future exhibits.
EAC members are elected by their fellow exhibitors for a two to three year term. Members of the committee represent large, small and medium size booths. Dmitry, who has been on the committee for two years, will serve as chairperson until the next election in 2004.
