U-Haul Parent Amerco Wins Loan Approval

Amerco Inc., owner of the U-Haul truck-rental business, won approval of a $300 million loan to help fund its bankruptcy reorganization, Bloomberg reported on October 1. The company sought bankruptcy protection in June after failing to refinance $866 million of debt. U-Haul was not included in the bankruptcy filing.The company said it would file a recovery plan by Oct. 6.
