OVLA Fall Conference Rescheduled to December 4

October 20, 2003

William (Bill) Crawford, president of the National Vehicle Leasing Association (NVLA) will be a featured speaker at the 47th Year Fall Conference of the Ohio Vehicle Leasing Association (OVLA.) Originally scheduled for Nov. 13, the conference was switched to Thursday, Dec. 4. It will be held at the Radisson Hotel-Worthington, the site of the June 2003 Convention. The meeting is being held in conjunction with the NVLA. Crawford is president of Wilmar Leasing Inc., a North Carolina independent lessor based in Charlotte with offices in Spartanburg, SC., and Atlanta. The OVLA Board of Directors approved on September 22 affiliating with the NVLA; however, to complete the affiliation, there must be 20 members of the NVLA – currently eight shy. The affiliation calls for a "confederation" – meaning a firm can be a member of both or one or the other with dues invoicing to be separate. A "special" initial dues package is being offered by the NVLA.
