Donlen has announced that employees participating in their employer’s Employee Internet Auction Program may now review maintenance history of a vehicle online during the period of ownership by the employer. According to Donlen, this secure online process can help improve bidder confidence in a used vehicle, resulting in higher returns for the company. The employee Internet Auction Program is available to all employees of a company, allowing them to buy or bid on their employer’s fleet vehicles when they are being replaced.
"The ability to provide Donlen's maintenance history to a bidder participating in a Employee Internet Auction greatly enhances the existing condition report process and creates bidder confidence in an unfamiliar car that they can not touch or feel,” states Daniel Hannan, Strategic Project Manager at Donlen. "Eliminating hesitation to bid on vehicles posted on the Internet can be greatly reduced by providing the maintenance history, a condition report and digital images of the vehicles being offered for sale."
