William J. Ford Announces Retirement as NationaLease President; John Grainger Named New President

At its 59th Annual Meeting, held in Boston on September 8, 2003, NationaLease announced that William J. Ford is retiring as president, effective January 1, 2004. At the same time, the organization announced that John Grainger, president and CEO of Laidlaw Education Services, will be taking over as its new president.Ford has led NationaLease since 1985, and will continue to serve the organization as a consultant and board member. Under Ford’s leadership, NationaLease helped franchisees move from leasing providers to transportation service providers, created a national accounts program, and started the developing members program that brings new companies into the leasing industry.
