Crawford Switches Car & Truck Fleet Buy to GM After 37 Years With Ford

Crawford & Co., the world’s largest independent provider of claims management services, switched its new-vehicle fleet buy to GM after acquiring Ford products exclusively for the past 37 years.Starting with the 2004-model year, Crawford will acquire the Malibu LS as its passenger car and the all-new Chevrolet Colorado for its light-duty truck fleet, said David McKeone, assistant VP, Fleet Operations for Crawford & Co. The Malibu LS will replace the Ford Focus SE sedan currently in service. All new-vehicle acquisition will continue to be administered by AMI Leasing and Piemonte National Fleet. Crawford operates a nationally dispersed fleet of 1,500 cars and 110 light-duty trucks.
