Wheels Debuts Enhanced Warranty Program
Wheels, Inc. has extended the mileage limits on its three-month/3,000-mile warranty to 110,000 miles. It has also extended mileage limits to 80,000 miles on the 12-month/12,000-mile and 24-month/24,000-mile service contracts.
“Highlights of the new program include increased coverage of the standard transmission, 4x4 transfer case and locking hub assemblies, as well as an increase in both rental and towing coverage,” said Darrin Aiken, assistant vice president of remarketing for Wheels. “There have also been additions made to the covered parts list.”
Wheels also announced that it is offering another optional warranty. A three-month/3,000-mile powertrain warranty is now available on vehicles up to 110,000 miles. “Several states have instituted implied warranties, or lemon laws,” said Aiken. “You can reduce company liability along with driver risk by taking advantage of this warranty.”
